World War Z Guide: Breaching Room, Tunnel Vision

Breaching Room Tunnel Vision

Now before I start telling you which door to open, I want you to know that at a lower difficulty there will be more stuff inside the room as compared to let’s say insane and extreme difficulty. Even though I say that, there is a guaranteed spawn across all levels of difficulty. So take this information of mine with a little bit of salt.

There are a grand total of 5 doors for you to breach in Tunnel Vision. So theoretically If everyone in the party brought breaching charges, you can bang open every single door, provided that you find one more breaching charge that’s hiding from you – door bangers.

The first door is located in the room where you need to activate 3 switches. Behind this door is a guaranteed medkit, heavy weapon and a crate. If you’re lucky, the room will spawn 2 heavy weapons instead of one. And if today is your birthday, the crate will spawn a tier 3 gun for you. But most of the time you will get either tier 1 guns or secondary weapons instead.

So do you need to breach open that door? Absolutely not! That is a trash room! If all 4 of you spawn with a breaching charge, you might as well blow it up. If you see a dying high-level player blowing it up to grab the medkit to heal himself, you should leave the game and find a new party. If he is already dying this early on, you can tell he is not a good player. He won’t lead you to the gate of victory. The only gate that he will open for you is this (only the pearly one boss) – Stevie.

The second door is located at the right side of the main hub beside the wooden plank slope. Behind this door lays a guarantee defense kit, 2 heavy weapons and a crate. There’s a decent chance that the room will spawn two 2 defense kits instead of one. And when that happens, one of them is a guaranteed Auto turret. The crate, however, spawn tier 2 guns mostly and there’s a low chance you will get tier 3 guns instead.

This is a door that you must blow open whenever you have a breaching charge. More defense kit is always good, especially the Auto turret.

The 3rd door is located on the 2nd floor from the bottom of the gas chamber. Inside this room spawn a guaranteed medkit and a crate. The crate will spawn anything but tier 1 guns in this room along with a small chance of a tier 3 gun.

Should you breach that door? It depends honestly, if you need that medkit in order for you to go through the next segment of the map, then you should blast it open for that sweet sweet medkit. If not, you can save your breaching charge for the next room instead.

The 4th door is immediate to your right in the next room after you cleared the spiral segment of the map. This room spawns a guaranteed medkit and a crate. The crate will give you 2 tier 3 guns most of the time. Unless you cross paths with a black zombie cat as you run up to your way here. You’re very unlucky if you did not get tier 3 guns from that crate.

This is a good room for you to breach open, especially when you’re low on health. You get tier 3 guns too! That is always a plus.

The final room is at the other end of the control room of the main hub. At this point, you might as well blast it open as there are no more doors after this anyway.

Anyway, this room gives you a crate, two heavy weapons and sometimes a defense kit. The crate won’t spawn guns any lower than tier 3 but there’s a chance to spawn secondary guns too.
