Now, now, just because the review title is like that, it’s doesn’t necessarily equate to a bad game. On the contrary, Hollow Knight is a great game. Its art, soundtrack and gameplay are great. Only its story, regrettably isn’t as strong as the other aspect of the game. And that makes my play through experience in this game to be a hollowed one.
I took a hike at Mount Inari when I was visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine last month. Took a short break at the checkpoint which is about halfway to the mountain top. Bought myself a vanilla cone ice cream from one of the shops, despite the season being in winter. Sat on a stone bench that’s overlooking the town as I ate my ice cream, it was blissful. Relaxing. The same feeling I have as I played Kingdom And Castle.
They Are Billions is an Early Access RTS game about building a colony all the while fighting to survive the hordes of zombies coming to destroy all that you have built. It’s not an easy game and it’s a brutal one for sure. I too have my fair share of defeats and with every defeat, it compels me to strive and perform better until eventually, I taste that delicious fruit of sweet victory.
I remember the times when zombie games come out a few years back, and it was the craze back then. As the years go by, the hype for zombie game slowly diminished until They Are Billions come along and its hype went back up again.
